Overview

I am a junior software engineer at Allied Solutions in Carmel, Indiana, where I build and maintain REST APIs used for digital verification of automobile and homeowner insurance policies. Responsibilities encompass AWS integrations, observability tooling, modernization of legacy .NET components, and delivery through Harness-based CI/CD in an Agile environment.

I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Boston College (Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences) in May 2025, with Dean's List First Honors in multiple semesters. Before joining Allied full time I served as a student programmer with Boston College Information Technology Services, contributing Django and PostgreSQL applications deployed to institutional requirements.

I maintain an ongoing interest in data-oriented work beyond my primary role. Alumni, colleagues in software engineering, or others wishing to collaborate may reach out through the links at the bottom of this page.

Experience

May 2025 – Present

Software Engineer (Junior)

Allied Solutions · Carmel, IN

I design and develop REST APIs in C# and .NET on AWS supporting digital verification of vehicle and mortgage insurance policies. Typical volume exceeds fifty thousand requests per week across integrated services. Responsibilities additionally include configuring AWS-associated monitoring via CloudWatch and Datadog; refactoring legacy .NET applications; implementing Harness-based CI/CD pipelines; and participating in Agile sprint planning, code review, and backlog refinement.

Aug 2024 – May 2025

Student Programmer

Boston College ITS · Chestnut Hill, MA

Developed a course registration tool using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL subject to ITS compliance validation. Contributed to authentication modernization efforts aligned with Boston College Single Sign-On for deployments relied upon by approximately twelve thousand users across instructional and administrative workloads.

May 2024 – Aug 2024

SDET Intern

Allied Solutions · Carmel, IN

Implemented automated regression and integration suites across multiple repositories with UiPath, Cypress, and JavaScript under Agile SaaS-release timing. Produced internal documentation subsequently adopted broadly; assisted with rollout of automated static-analysis review tooling deployed across fifty or more repositories.

May 2025

B.S. Computer Science

Boston College · Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences

Dean's List: First Honors in multiple semesters. Coursework emphasized data structures, algorithms, software engineering, computer systems, web development, and data science foundations.

What I'm up to

Current role — Allied Solutions

Production REST APIs using C# and .NET on AWS for insurance-policy verification workloads. Operational monitoring through CloudWatch and Datadog supports reliability and remediation. Participation in modernization initiatives for longstanding .NET clients; Harness-managed deployment pipelines under Agile sprint structure.

Honors & scholarships

Fulbright English Teaching Assistant program — semifinalist. Dean's List: First Honors in multiple semesters at Boston College. Partner Engineering and Science Scholar.

Hackathons

First place (2024), Best Use of Auth0, and runner-up (2025). Work included team-based full-stack builds and Auth0 integrations against weekend deadlines.

Research — Journal of Double Star Observations

I am drafting a manuscript for the Journal of Double Stars examining observational double-star binaries: catalog ingestion, orbital parameter estimation against noisy observational inputs, and comparison with computational expectations. Submission remains in progress pending further analysis and revisions.

Music

I play the violin and the guitar. Performing and practice are a steady counterpart to technical work: repertoire, timing, and refining performance through repetition.

Outside of work

I play ice hockey in local recreational leagues. I also pursue tabletop strategy gaming with peers, including heavier Euro-style board games.

Skills & tools

Professional development work centers on Microsoft and AWS platforms. I also apply Python web frameworks, databases, and complementary mobile development in Swift based on project context.

Backend & cloud

C#, .NET, REST services on AWS including Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch; Datadog instrumentation; Microsoft SQL Server; Harness for continuous delivery; Git; Agile-based planning and release practices.

Python, Swift & full-stack

Python with Django and Flask; PostgreSQL and MongoDB; containerized deployment with Docker. Swift and iOS development for personal projects. Institutional-scale deployments from prior Boston College ITS responsibilities.

Testing & analytics

JavaScript and Java as required by project stack; Cypress and UiPath for automation; Postman for API validation. Python tooling for analysis: pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, and Matplotlib applied in academic and research-oriented work.
